Akriti Subedi

Ms. Akriti Subedi is a microbiologist with diverse research and teaching experience. From June 2015 to October 2017, she worked as a Scientific Assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology (IME) in Giessen, Germany. Previously, she was a Research Assistant at the Public Health Research Laboratory, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal (January 2013 - July 2014). In 2012, she served as an Instructor for B.Sc. Microbiology at Sunsari Technical College in Dharan, Nepal. Akriti earned her Master’s degree in Microbiology from Tribhuvan University (2009-2014), where she researched enteropathogenic infections among children for her thesis. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the same institution (2006-2009), gaining expertise in microbiological and serological techniques, including PCR and DNA extraction. Her robust background in both academic and practical microbiology underscores her commitment to advancing the field.
