We’re excited to announce the publication of a peer-reviewed research article co-authored by our bachelor’s students Kriti Shrestha, Manish Kunwar, and Alina Kunwar, under the guidance of Dr. Prayan Pokharel.
The paper, published in Biology, Medicine, & Natural Product Chemistry (by Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University and the Society for Indonesian Biodiversity), explores the encapsulation of Mentha piperita (mint/पुदीना) essential oil in alginate beads using ionic gelation—a technique that enhances stability and enables controlled release.
