Rekha Laudari is a Master of Science (Zoology – Entomology) student at Tribhuvan University, currently conducting her thesis research on mistletoe–insect interactions in the Panchase Protected Forest of the Central Himalayas, Nepal. She works under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Prem Bahadur Budha, Prof. Dr. Mohan Devkota and Dr. Prayan Pokharel at the Center for Environmental and Sustainable Agricultural Research (CESAR).

Her research focuses on understanding how mistletoe parasitism influences insect community composition, host–specific associations, and broader ecological dynamics across the Panchase altitudinal gradient. Rekha’s academic background includes field-based biodiversity assessments, ecological surveys, and applied entomological research. She previously examined pesticide-related illnesses among vegetable farmers in Tanahu during her bachelor’s studies at Trichandra Multiple Campus.

Rekha is an active member of the Zoological Student Association of Nepal (ZOOSAN) and the Club for Wildlife Conservation. She brings experience in R, MS Office, and scientific data collection, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
